  • Welcome to the Shell Springboard website
    For small businesses with big ideas on
    climate change

    It's not only big business and government that can respond to the challenge of climate change. After all, there are over 4 million small businesses in the UK, who are smart, quick and full of ideas. We're offering a financial boost of up to £40,000 for a small number of UK businesses who submit the most compelling plans for a product or service which helps combat climate change.

    The deadline for applications for this round of Shell Springboard has now closed, and the businesses that have been shortlisted to win awards are to be judged at events to be held in Manchester, Edinburgh and Cambridge.  The UK Final will be held in London in March 2010. Keep your eye on the website for news of the competition.

    Since it's launch in 2005, Shell Springboard has judged over 750 entries and awarded over £1.3 million to 35 businesses across the UK. If you would like Shell Springboard to come and present to your organisation or network, please contact Jenny Marsden on 0207 934 1234.
