A ‘juicy’ prospect for LED lighting…

Older incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs are becoming obsolete with LED lighting. LED lighting uses a tenth of the energy and is fast becoming the lighting source of choice for ecologically conscious consumers. Juice Technology is ideally placed to profit from this with its flexible range of ultra efficient LED lights, power and control systems. In contrast to many LED light systems, this lighting is flexible, practical, affordable and useable for a wide variety of purposes and places. They can be used in shop displays, offices, kitchens and the living room and they even include a unique dimming feature, currently not available to any other similar producer.

Juice’s designs could lead to a 90% reduction in energy use compared to current incandescent light sources and 50% compared to compact fluorescent sources. They
also have a long life and therefore minimal electrical waste, unlike compact fluorescent lamps which contain mercury. Juice has already established a joint venture with a partner company in the United States, JuiceWorks. Given the cost effectiveness of their designs, they are expected to make significant inroads into both new build and refurbished commercial and residential properties in the US and if their current
ambitions are met, in Britain and the rest of Europe. On a global scale, Juice’s products offer potential savings of over 200m kWh of energy per year and help bring LED lighting to millions of people’s homes and workplaces.
